Week 9 Top 25

Week 9 rankings are out for the Aggregate. Texas remains on top, South Carolina gains big, Iowa drops and Boise State still gets no love.

The Longhorns may be the biggest story of this week's top 25 as the Longhorns despite a disappointing loss to Georgia remains as the Aggregate's number one team. The Aggregate did lower Texas's rating by almost 3 points, but it wasn't enough to knock them from the top spot. Oregon who sits in the top spot in the AP is still only 10th in the Aggregate ranks. Many now have Georgia over Texas, but the Aggregate still has the Dawgs ranked 8th. Their rating did go up 3.1 points.

The biggest mover this week was South Carolina who jumped 9 spots up to 14th in the Aggregate rankings. The Gamecocks had an impressive victory over Oklahoma 35-9. South Carolina gained four points in their rating.

Felt Christmas Tree for Kids

The biggest team on the decline was Iowa. The Hawkeyes lost to Michigan State (66th) 32-20. This dropped the Hawkeyes 8 spots to 22nd in the Aggregate rankings.

Boise State did not make the Aggregate's top 25. In fact they are not the Aggregate's highest rated group of five school. UNLV, whom the Broncos play this week, is rated slightly higher than Boise. That game will determine much for who gets into the college football playoff and it will certainly effect how the Aggregate sees each team.
